JeniViva will be holding a discussion about building your character. How to journal your vision alive! Through provocative questions, writing prompts and acting exercises students will learn how to add layers and depth to their stage personas. You will develop your character from idea spark to a complex living being.

Summer Schedule July-August 2011

Currently, I am teaching BELLYFUSE: Cardio-bellydance

every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm

at

Harmony Yoga in Whitestone,  Queens, NY.

In addition, 

I'm teaching individual private lessons

and semi-private lessons for up to 5 students at a time in the art of Fusion Bellydance.

My rates are $50 per hour (plus studio rental fees)

Semi-private rates are $17 per hour per student (minimum of 3 students + studio rental fees)

We can focus on drills, alignment, and technique, props

or

I can write you an original theatrical choreography based off a song of your choosing.

My approach to teaching Fusion Bellydance is based off my original dance methodology called
the Terpsichore Method©.

My technique fuses method acting techniques with movements of:

Vict-Oriental, Gothic, Flamenco, Steampunk, Cabaret, Tribal Fusion, and Ritual Bellydance;
the ultimate fusion of alternative Bellydance genres with a modern theatrical twist.

Focus will be on channeling Muse energies, proper body alignment, building strength,

and creating character awareness, and choreography.
